This month we added four new service categories to our local business directory for the Coastal Bend: AI phone answering, workflow automation, custom software, and AI consulting. We also launched a new internet safety tool called Shield, you can install it on a spare computer at home, or use a cloud version if you don't have spare hardware. The big move: we're the only directory in the Coastal Bend offering these services, and we're keeping them honest with real guides based on work we actually do.

We added four categories to the Coastal Bend directory: AI phone answering, workflow automation, custom software, and AI consulting. We are the only directory in the region carrying them. Each one comes with six or more of the real questions people ask when they are trying to figure out if this stuff works for them, answered in both Spanish and English.

The guides come from work we actually run: the phone system that answers our calls, the automations that keep the shop moving, the custom software we build. This is not a pay-to-rank board where money buys a higher spot. We own these categories, and we say what we know and admit what we do not.

Our laser shop films tumblers, signs, and custom gifts being engraved in real time and uploads them to YouTube and Facebook. The videos go out on separate schedules tuned to when people watch each platform, with titles and descriptions written for each one. The laser work is the same, the timing and words are not.

We connected the shop to Google, Apple Maps, Yelp, and other listing sites, so a search for a computer shop in Alice, Texas turns us up in several places. Search engines lean on those connections to confirm a business is real. The phone number and address stay identical everywhere, so there is no question about which number to call.

The jobs board is free for a first post and works in Spanish

New employers get their first job post free, one per email address, good for ninety days, with the same handling as a paid post. Get a hire and you know the board works. Get nothing and you spent nothing. The board keeps both your contact info and the applicant's private, sends a notification when someone applies, and never scrapes and sells phone numbers.

The course was built for a phone from the ground up, not a desktop course crammed onto a small screen. The lessons teach the real concepts, how a computer thinks, how AI learns, what these tools can and cannot do, without the jargon. It is a start, and more lessons are coming. Anyone with a phone should be able to learn this without a class or a textbook.
