Clip is our app for recording your screen or camera, then trimming and sharing the clip.

Clip, the tool we use to record and share video, picked up a run of upgrades this week. Video now plays right where the clips are stored, so there is no bouncing to a separate player to find the right one. Trimming snaps to exact frame boundaries for clean cuts, and if the cut turns out wrong there is a full 24 hours to undo it before it holds.

Phone uploads also got faster. Video used to travel across the country to reach a server. It now goes to the nearest one, which for most of the country is much closer than before.
